Good evening everyone, welcome to the newest blog page! looking fancy aint it? I hope the font that you’re currently reading is legible, the default font that I use for my main site (consolas) is a total eye strain when bunched together in paragraph form, so I hope that this font isn’t too divergent. This page is still a wip if you haven't noticed the empty header yet. (i'm so slow when it comes to creating graphics for this site haha…) But yeah, lately I’ve just been slowly chipping away at building a new version of this site since I’ve been dealing with the burden of an art block for the last couple of months and had nothing better to do. The reason why it’s taking such a long time to finish up on this whole site revamp project, is that I’m having some conflicted feelings between the layout of the new index page and me wanting to keep the current one, but it’ll have to go. I really do like my current homepage, but I must say that the yellowish-tan, brown theme was a little too hot to handle, I couldn't keep the palette consistent without it looking too strange on the other pages and I was slowly growing out with the style overtime. you will be missed my little weird color palette themed site.
Things that I’m keeping in mind for the new layout:
- keeping the width of the entire site 800px max
- have at least some consistently with the main pages (home, gallery, library, and blog)
- also keeping the navigation bar in those pages so it will actually have a purpose lol

The whole index page was a little too horizontal? I tried to move the navigation bar to the side and it was a trouble to make the main area look good next to it. Overall, I felt like it was too busy looking so I thought it would be best to just redo the entire layout since I already got the main code down.
Now, here is the new work in progress site:
I'm still having trouble with that damn sidebar but I'm feeling a lot better with the outcome of this one. I'm really feeling the new navigation bar and the site is looking more vibrant than before!
Things I gotta do:
- redo out of the west portal
- add in some featured pages
- make some graphics for c box
- code a working mp3 player
- make youtube embed load faster (Done!) Tutorial if you’re interested

I’d never thought I would have some sort of physical copy of Say anything’s debut album, but load and behold. I snatched that shit once the pre orders were available and waited patiently for it to arrive, but it was well worth the wait! I love the old school feeling of this album music and cover art wise. Best purchase I made this year >:D
